Our strategy

Direct Wonen has a clear strategy to attain its interlinked goals, a strategy defined in 2005 and proven successful in figures. Strategic (autonomous) growth is being achieved, market shares won and the balance sheet kept healthy with solid financial ratios thanks to a number of strategic growth factors. The most important growth factor is the expansion of the service offering, whereby the needs of our clients, as shown in the databases, are put centre stage.
We strive for focus within the various divisions through a limited number of products, so that there are no sacrifices in terms of quality of processes. Some growth factors are to a large extent independent of our control, such as the legislation & regulation and the economic situation in our markets. However, by entering selected markets at the right moment, we can benefit from changes in the economic cycle.
To realize the goals set, we work hard on the factors that can be controlled and influenced: the strategic use of information from the databases; process-based working; the application of modern means of communication; and a powerful Internet site: www.directwonen.nl.
Our strategy in 2008 will be aimed at achieving autonomous growth, innovation, acquisitions and development in the sale of newly built homes. We will base our management on productivity and invest in databases and IT services. We will seek to expand our activities in letting and financial services, in order to further expand into selected European countries, should this be possible. We have already analysed a number of interesting new construction projects that will be started in 2008.
